Lately I seem to be choosing less controversial choices from my collection; movies I've seen many times before. A comfortable fireside companion DVD is the choice de jour. This is a concern primarily because I used to be a different type of movie watcher.
It's important that you know... Hi - I'm Mark J.
You may remember me watching such scenes as the head in the vice scene in Casino, and the Reservoir Dogs ear cutting scene.

Gritty was my modus operandi. Well - perhaps mildly gritty.
Lately the following titles from my collection have been lurking;
The Departed
Blue Velvet
Knife in the Water
and embarrassingly; to a lesser extent
The Constant Gardener.

Sooner or later we all must take the plunge into the unknown.

I have that same problem, a stack of DVD's that I haven't watched. I even have half a terrabyte of television, and trust me I haven't watched it all.
I have no other reaction other than to chuckle softly at you.
Which of course - is totally the correct thing to do :)
I'm doing the same thing with CDs at th mo. PF Vulture Street is on high rotation again... And I thought I'd got clean this time...
New albumn next month too!!!!!!
Dont be ashamed of your Constant Gardening fetish. It's a great film and gritty enough in it's own starchy British way - Beats Blood Diamond hands down in my opinion "bling bang aye bro"
Oh, and Jay: Seriously! Who hates all music??? What the?
Powderfinger addicts are everywhere! Did you know that Australian schools are using the song "These Days" from Odyssey Number Five in their social studies classes?
Tyler - who posts here every now and again almost always has Vulture Street within short reach. Especially on ski trips.
Tyler is dead my friend... Long live the King...
Youre freak'n kidd'n me!
I'm afraid not. What do you think of my little beer glass? It took me a couple of hours to make it work just right.
A constantly refilling beer glass is a pipe dream Matt, but I like it.
