Vice President Dick Cheney made an unusual personal appeal to Republican senators this week to allow CIA exemptions to a proposed ban on the torture of terror suspects in U.S.
This would be ironic if it wasn't so sad.
So the US government would be prepared to condone a practice they would fight to viciously defeat, should it be against any of their citizens..... Once a great nation...
