Thoughts for the day

How many of our leaders live in "the real world"?

Do you think Helen Clark would have to wait in an A&E for 6 hours to be seen?

Do you think the Police would take 4 days to turn up to Don Brash's house after a burglary?

Do you think your salary should be decided by the higher salaries commission?

Do you think it's just that MP's and their families have unlimited air travel?

Finally - Do YOU realise they work for you - not the other way around?

And while the focus of this post may be political in nature how about these points...

Why would it be in the best interests of energy producers, to promote energy conservation - when that would only impact on their bottom line? If you were in it for the money you'd be busy working out how to get you consumers to spend more money wouldnt you?

OR If "they" want you to use public transport - how come its more expensive to take the bus or train than to use your own car? And they wonder why the car is worshiped in God's own NZ.
