I've posted some of these words before, but perhaps this clip has some greater truth to it.
Television may not be entirely rubbish after all. I am as shocked as you :)
I still think that to love, and be loved, is the greatest gift life can offer. If you have that, you're a fool to want more - isn't that wealth enough?

We're all a bunch of schmucks. We always want what we can't have, we're a bunch of toddlers in big boy/girl pants.
TV these days isn't completely rubbish, you just have to find the forest between the trees.
Cheer up little down under dude, the love of your life is probably right around the corner (now don't you go sprinting towards it, you could scare it :D)
Nice words Sir Manic.
Sometimes my posts are a bit narrow in scope - rest assured I'm not in any way depressed. I guess, like most people, I tend to react to the most pressing issue on my mind. While this may make it look like I'm "down", I assure you I am in fact mostly "Up". I have some truely exceptional friends, and have had a pretty good life so far.
True - a significant other would be nice (well more than nice actually) - but I'm not going to force that particular issue and I'm not going to live each moment of my life expecting that that will happen. We all have to play the cards we're dealt - and I've got a pretty good hand. :)
Yeah - I totally get what you mean.
I'm a total sucker for it as well. You just cant beat that high.
Maybe it's not that we get up and leave, looking for something else because we don't know how good we have it, but we know how hard it's going to be to keep it?
So we leave when the end doesnt justify the means?
Makes sense if you think about it.
Perhaps the real point is - If you're not prepared to put in the effort then the relationship really isnt working for you.
It cant be that easy tho. Relationships never are - that's why I'm pleasantly surprised when they do work :)
