I broke the back of love for you

Twisted like a pretzel I am.

Stress manifests as an ache in my jaw that seems to last for about 5 days.

The chemist looks at me with suspicion as I ask for codeine laced ibuprofen - well not in so many words, but you get the idea; I need the strong stuff.

As the ache subsides, people become more tolerable, but the drugs only take the edge off.

I'd give anything to worry a bit more while I was awake; clenching teeth in my sleep - I hate being a hypocrite to my subconscious; even if it's only once a year or so.

If not for this - what would life throw at me for a little serenity?

I feel tomorrow will see me in a better place :)

Sounds like a bad case of Fridayitus. Dr J recommends a long sleep in and a peace, love and mung beans Saturday :)

I'm so with you on that. My jaw is slowly getting better. By Sunday I'm hoping I wont even notice it when I wake.

I brought a quirky little "water feature" at the mall yesterday for a paltry $30. The sound of water has always been a relaxing sound for me - I hope the spinning glass ball will add to the mix, creating a "person serenity device". Watch this space :)

Yeowch! Hope you're in better form today. I used to chomp away in my sleep - still do. I nibbled a hole in both cheeks, to the extent that the area became inflamed extending down my throat. Dentist fitted me with a mouth guard (seriously unsexy)

Am thinking of getting a mouth guard - sexiness aside - I could do without this hassle. Plus if *you* wear one they are obviously all the rage right now. I must admit, the only thing scaring me is the possibility of choking on it whilst sleeping....

I really have to deal with the possibility of visiting a sleep clinic one day soon. Mouth guards aside I'm sure the possibility I stop breathing while sleeping would further add to the charm that is me - I can just see the girls banging down the door to be a part of that "sleeping" scenario. Best to live in ignorance me thinks.
