Freezing in my sleeping bag, I had my iPod on shuffle when I came across this song.
I hate the idea that this song resonates with me so much. It cant be just me - right?
Damn you Dixie Chicks - stop reading my mind :)
Tell me now if you came sneaking up behind
Would you know me and see behind the smile
I can change like colors on a wall
Hoping no one else will find what lies beneath it all
I think I hide it all so well
Would you know me and see behind the smile
I can change like colors on a wall
Hoping no one else will find what lies beneath it all
I think I hide it all so well

Oh man! Your place is 'there'!!!!??
Love the view.
Listening to the song as I type :)
They're a talented bunch of musicians who've reached out to a new audience since their views on the Iraq war. Unfortunately in the same breath they lost some of their earlier fans... The album is a must have, IMHO.
Do colours on a wall . . . change? Huh? That metaphor is way above me. Or below me. Not sure which
Different walls can have different colours. Just goes to say we are many things to many different people.
But you know that, because you are less metaphorically challenged than I - although much more the tease apparently :)
